Pindari Kafni Glaciers

Tour Description :
One of the most accessible glaciers in Kumaun region, Pindari is located at 3820m in Patti Malla Danpur of Bageshwar district. The Pindari glacier is 3 km. long and 0.25 km broad and is connected to the southwestern slope of the outer wall of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary. The main peaks near the glacier are Nandakot (6880m), Nandakhat (6611m), Pawalidwar (6663m), Baljuri (5922m) and Changuch (6322m).
The Kafni glacier lies towards the left of Pindari valley below Nandakot. The tranquility prevailing in this region has a special charm. This region is very rich in wildlife. There is no rest house beyond Dwali and one has to spend the night in tents or caves. The main peaks near the glacier are Nandakot (6860m) and Nand Bhanar (6104m). The route to Pindari and Kafni glacier is common up to Dwali.

Day 9 : Khati Dhakuri (Night halt) .. 07 km trek
Day 10 : Dhakuri Loharkhet Almora (Night halt) .. 10 km trek to Loharkhet
Day 11 : Almora Evening departure to Kathgodam railway station. Overnight train to Delhi
Day 12 : Arrive Delhi. Check in at hotel. Departure to your destination
