Sunderdhunga means the valley of beautiful stones. The valley is situated to the west of Pindari valley. Maiktoli & Skhram are two Glaciers, and the main peaks are Tharkot (6100m), Mrigthuni (6856m), Maiktoli (6804) and Pawalidwar (6663m). The route to Sunderdhunga is the same up to Khati as in the trek to Pindari and Kafni.

Itinerary:
Day 1 : Arrive Delhi. Check in at hotel. Overnight train to kathgodam
Day 2 : Kathgodam Loharkhet (Night halt)
Day 3 : Loharkhet Dhakuri (2681m) (Night halt) .. 11 km trek
Day 4 : Dhakuri Jatoli (2440m) (Night halt) .. 13 km trek
Day 5 : Jatoli Kathaliya (Night halt) .. 13 km trek
Day 6 : Kathaliya Sunuderdhunga Kathaliya (Night halt) .. 14 km trek
Day 7 : Kathaliya Jatoli (Night halt) .. 13 km trek
Day 8 : Jatoli Dhakuri (Night halt) .. 14 km trek
Day 9 : Dhakuri Loharkhet Almora (Night halt) .. 10 km trek to Loharkhet
Day 10 : Almora to Kathgodam railway station. Overnight train to delhi.
Day 11 : Arrive Delhi. Check in at hotel. Departure to your destination
