4wheel Drive Safari - Corbett

Jeep Safari or 4 wheel drive safari is the most convenient way to excurse the dense forest of Corbett National Park at its best. This safari is the easy mode of transportation amidst the forest that allows visitors to cover maximum numbers of area in minimum time. Jeeps only follow some specific routes, going out of track is not allowed due to safety measure. Tracks are divided in several paths where limited numbers of four wheelers can run and at a time only 6 adults and 1 child are allowed in one Jeep. Jeep safari is accompanied with a government authorized guide who takes care your way and take you to close to the tiger protected area where tigers can be best viewed.

Safari Routes:

Dhikala (Corbett national park) - Situated near Patil Dun Valley and sited at a distance of 50 km from Ramnagar. As the Ramganga River is flowing through this region therefore, here tourist can watch maximum numbers of birds, mammals and reptiles.

Lohachaur (Corbett national park) - travelling 43 km from Ramnagar you will reach Sal forest of Corbett National Park where Lohachaur zone is located. This zone is the home of many seasonal birds and is the most favored place for bird watchers.

Jhirna (Corbett national park) - Running 35 km from Ramnagar village towards the edge of Corbett National Park, you will reach Jhirna zone. The place shows the best view of rarely seen animals leopards and bears.

Bijrani (Corbett national park)- It is one of the shortest routes in Corbett National Park which can be easily reachable from Ramnagar village, travelling at a distance of 9 km. This zone is comparatively less dense as compared to other zones but shows maximum numbers wild animals.

There are two safaris that can be taken in a day
Morning- from 6 A.M. to 10 A.M.
Evening- from 2 P.M. to 6 P.M.

Due to the availability of limited numbers of Jeep at Corbett National Park we will personally recommend you to book your Jeep safari in advance. This will help you to get Jeep at your desired time. Booking is prioritized first come first service basis.

To book your safari tour we will require your personal information like name, gender, age, photo ID proof or passport number. The ID card that you will show us, have to represent at the time of going to safari.
For Foreigners Name, age, gender, passport number and nationality are required for all the guests, visiting in one gypsy.

Elephant Safari - Corbett

Elephant Safari at Corbett National Park is the unique mode of transportation, which take you to the dark mysterious forest of the park without polluting the environment. Elephant safari is guided by a Govt. authorized guide who takes you amidst the Corbett National Park sitting you back on a trained elephant. Enjoying elephant ride you can go close to the wildlife of the national park and some of its most popular bird watching places. There are certain elephant safari routes that are authorized for visiting different zones.

Elephant Safari Routes at Corbett national park:

Bijrani adds more thrill to your journey. In this route tiger spotting is guaranteed so be alert because you do not know when the king of the jungle will appear in front of your route.

Dhikala offers the best view of migratory birds and some wild animals, which most of the time can be seen on the bank of Ramganga River.

Evening- from 3P.M. to 5 P.M.

Open Bus Safari - Corbett

Open bus safari or Canter safari is one another conveyance during your wildlife tour in Corbett National Park. It allows 18 numbers of people to take the safari at a time. Boarding is taken place at the entry gate to Dhikala zone, Dhangarhi, or at Corbett reception at Ramnaga.

4 Wheel Drive Safari - Sitabani
Sitabani zone is not a part of Corbett National Park, but though tourist drives to this place to see its beauty. The richness of wildlife at Sitabani has made the zone a perfect tourist destination in Corbett National Park. People believe that it is the place where Sita (wife of Lord Rama) brought up her children in years ago. During daytime one can effortlessly catch wild animals like tigers, dears, jackal, leopards, elephants, wild boar and many other animals.

Horse Safari

Horse Safari in Corbett National Park is done through the dense reserve forest from Sal to Sitabani. This safari always engaged with a guide who takes you through some specific routes of the forest so that you can never face any inconvenience. People believe that it is the place where Lord Rama accepted his wife Sita with his two sons. The horses are the special arrangement only for you which are brought from Nainital.

Night Safari
