Dhikala Safari Zone

Safari zone in Dhikala is the most sought after tourist destinations in Corbett National Park. Dhangari gate is the entrance to the Dhikala safari zone of Corbett national park. Jhirna Safari Zone

Jhirna Safari Zone is one another popular tourist destination of Corbett National Park' located 16 km apart from Ramnagar. The site is accounted having the higher density of a variety of animals like black bear, leopard, royal Bengal Tiger and several species of mammals. Permit is must so as to enter inside the safari zone. The thick plantation of the zone offers a great wildlife sightseeing mixed with thrills. Loha Chaur Safari Zone

Ahead of Dhikala tourist zone, Loha Chaur Safari Zone is located, which is lying some other parts of Ramnagar. Durga Devi gate is the gateway to this zone. Entire area is surrounded by hills, which offer an exceptional view of Corbett wildlife to its visitors. Without authority's permission entrance to Loha Chaur Zone is strictly prohibited. Both Monda and Ramganga River are flowing continuously through the zone which shows great scenery. Water of both the rivers is keeping alive several mammals in this zone. Here, tourist can expect to watch a varied range of water birds. If visitors wish to spend a couple of nights in this zone, they can. Sitavani Safari Zone

Sitavani safari zone does not come under Corbett National Park region; it is a part of one another reserve forest, but visitors are allowed to visit this place. Sitavani safari zone is rich by its abundant wildlife like elephants, tigers and leopards and is popularly known for bird watchers paradise. Tourist can enjoy safari tour in this zone at anytime. In this zone one can find all sorts of pythons from small to large even in the daytime. Amidst the dense forest tourist can discover the famous Sitavani temple, where Sita; wife of Lord Rama brought up her two beautiful kids namely Luv and Kush.
